At The Smiley Fund, we believe everyone deserves moments of joy — especially young adults, Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA), patients navigating the unimaginable challenges of cancer. Our mission is to provide meaningful escapes through donated adventures, travel, and life-affirming experiences. Whether it’s a dream trip, a concert, or a relaxing massage, we’re here to create space for smiles, hope, and the reminder that there’s still so much life to live.
Please note that recipients are selected through a lottery system, and once you apply, there's no need to reapply — your name stays in our system forever for future consideration.

Every PROJECT SMILEY experience begins with the imagination of a young adult facing cancer. Whether it’s a trip, a meaningful retreat, an adventure with friends, or something totally unique — we believe in creating moments that reflect who you are and what brings you joy. The only limit is your imagination — and a $3,000 cap to help us support as many smiles as possible.
These experiences aren't just escapes — they’re moments that remind you of your strength, your spirit, and your story beyond the diagnosis. For families and loved ones, they offer relief, connection, and lasting memories. For communities, they bring hope to life in powerful, unexpected ways.
Granting smiles is only possible thanks to our generous donors and the incredible support we receive through fundraising events. Every gift, every event, and every act of kindness helps bring joy to young adults who need it most.
